I am a believer in possibility and in the strength and resilience of the human body. I want to walk along side you as you move towards your desired shift or change in your body armed with knowledge and education.
I completed my Masters of Science in Physical Therapy in 2009 at the University of Alberta. My deep appreciation for movement and the relationship of the body to the ground beneath us (the literal ground or a piece of equipment!) led me to complete my Stott Pilates training post grad as I wanted additional support structures in place for helping individuals reconnect to the felt sense in and through their body. My clinical interest expanded to Pelvic Health in 2013. I currently support clients in preventative care for their pelvic health at any stage of life as well as management and treatment of symptoms that arise in teenage years, pre and post partum, peri and post menopause as well as pelvic and genital persistent pain conditions. I am a person that can sit quietly in the space of pain, frustration, questions and desire for change. Alongside client-directed goals and needs, I will bring my heart and a healthy dose of science and research to all pelvic health related concerns. I strive to treat with a whole person approach. My intention is to join you on your journey to improved health and always turn you back inwards, to find your own courage, your own strength and your own resiliency, with guidance and education along the way.
WHAT CLIENTS SAY
"Jen is such an amazing physio and has helped so much in my recovery postpartum, anyone needing support in this area needs to see her!!"
"I've been seeing Jennifer for quite a while now and she is a great physiotherapist and is an excellent source of knowledge on Pilates instruction which is what I've been seeing her mainly for. She was of particular help after a surgery that had damaged my abdominal muscles. I give a lot of credit to her help in restoring my pelvic health. She focuses on core movement to help you avoid unnecessary injuries in your exercise and advocates for consistent movement and balanced diet for a healthy lifestyle. My core strength has never been so good. You won't be disappointed"
