Adrienne has a passion for working with and empowering her clients with knowledge and quality information to make the best health care choices for themselves at any stage of life.
Adrienne trained in Perth, Australia and obtained her Master of Physiotherapy in 2010. She went on to work in various outpatient settings, including Orthopedics and Neurology. In 2014 she completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Physiotherapy - Continence and Women's Health at Curtin University (Perth, Australia). This launched her focused practice in Pelvic Health and Women’s Health at Diane Lee and Associates and the Bladder Clinic at the Jim Pattison Outpatient Centre in Surrey, affording her the opportunity to refine her skills and work alongside Urologists, Urogynecologists, Obstetricians, Gynecologists and Nurse Continence Advisors. In 2019, she joined the multidisciplinary team at Fortius Sport and Health in Burnaby and is now providing services in her home community of Langley, BC through Full Circle Physiotherapy.
Bringing her years of clinical experience, Adrienne is committed to ongoing education and takes into account the best available research evidence into her practice. She treats all areas of Pelvic Health, adopting a whole-person, partnered approach where she works with her clients on their self-identified needs and goals from daily function to high level performance. She also incorporates real time ultrasound into her assessment and treatment of the pelvic floor and core. Regardless of the injury or dysfunction, Adrienne strongly believes in keeping people active and doing what they love to do through their healing journey.
Being a mom of 2 littles, Adrienne has a passion for assisting people to maintain their fitness and athletics during pregnancy, return safely to function, exercise and sport after birth and establish healthy relationships with their bodies through the lifespan. She is enthusiastic about educating and presenting on various topics in her field to the community, her peers and other health care professionals. She is actively working to advocate and improve pelvic health awareness and accessibility in BC through various committees and research initiatives.
